The following covers what you need before setting your file up for Gold or Spot UV printing #
Design Layer #
- CMYK Color Space
- 300DPI
Element Layer (Foil or Spot Gloss) #
- Vector Artwork strongly preferred
- If raster, save as 360 DPI. Low res files will cause rough edges and delays in production.
- Black and White
- CMYK value of 0/0/0/100. You may have a lower percentage of K but it will produce a lower level of spot gloss.
